Brand Story
This brand was created out of a need for structure and aesthetics. Out of a desire for plates that are not just a background for food, but an essential part of it.
For a long time, tableware felt too smooth, too predictable, too uniform. What was missing were pieces with character — defined shapes, visible texture, weight. Objects that feel solid, honest, and grounded in the material itself.
A turning point came after a conversation with ceramic artist Chisato Kuroki in Barcelona. It became clear that handcrafted objects have the power to bring joy — the joy of eating, of seeing food beautifully presented, of being fully present at the table.
Rooted in a lifelong fascination with ceramics and shaped by travel, these plates are made in Portugal — a country of light, clay, and craftsmanship. Each piece carries natural irregularities, raised lines, and the visible trace of the material.
The colour palette is calm and earthy: Baby blue, Sand, Vanilla creme and Etoupe. The texture can be felt under the fingertips. Every plate is slightly different — just like the moments they accompany.
