Handmade Ceramic Tableware

Kaya makes handmade ceramic tableware for everyday meals and long dinners with friends: dinner plates, side plates, pasta bowls, bowls and mugs. Everything is designed in Sweden and made by hand in Portugal. There are two collections, Basic and Saint-Tropez, and four colors that work together: Baby Blue, Sand, Vanilla Creme and Étoupe.

Shop by piece

  • Dinner plates: 25 cm (Basic) and 28 cm (Saint-Tropez) for main courses.
  • Side and salad plates: 20.5–22 cm for starters, breakfast and dessert.
  • Pasta bowls: 26 cm wide and 6 cm deep, for pasta, risotto and salads.
  • Bowls: 15 cm across, for breakfast, soup and sides.
  • Mugs: 10 cm tall, for coffee and tea.

Two collections

The Basic Collection is calm and clean-lined: large plates and salad plates with a flat surface. The Saint-Tropez Collection has raised lines and covers the whole table, from dinner plates to mugs. The colors are shared, so the two mix easily.

Portuguese ceramic tableware, designed in Sweden

Our pieces are handmade and hand-painted in Portugal and fired at around 1250°C, which is why small variations in glaze, color and brushstroke are part of every piece. Read more about why we make our ceramics in Portugal. Everything is made for daily use: dishwasher and microwave safe, but not oven safe.

Delivery

We ship to Sweden, the EU, the UK and EFTA countries, and each piece is individually wrapped. Typical delivery times are 1–3 business days in Sweden, 3–7 in the EU and 4–10 to the UK and EFTA countries. See Shipping & Returns for details.
