Why a handmade mug feels different

A handmade pottery mug isn't a copy of the one next to it. The glaze settles a little differently, a brushstroke shows more on one side, a color shifts slightly as the light changes. Put two Sand mugs side by side and you'll see it. That small difference is part of what you're buying.

The raised lines change how the mug feels, too. There's texture under your fingers where most ceramic mugs are smooth.

Pair it with the rest of the table

The mug belongs to the Saint-Tropez Collection, so it shares its lines with the bowls and plates. A Baby Blue mug next to a Sand bowl makes an easy breakfast setting, and mixing colors is very much the idea. Mugs are sold individually: buy one for yourself, or a few in different colors for the whole household.
