Ceramic Pasta Bowls & Deep Plates

Pasta bowl, pasta plate or deep plate: three names for the same useful shape. Ours is the Saint-Tropez Pasta Plate, 26 cm across and 6 cm deep, wide enough to twirl spaghetti and deep enough to keep the sauce where it belongs. It’s handmade and hand-painted in Portugal, carries the raised lines of the Saint-Tropez Collection and comes in Baby Blue, Vanilla Creme and Étoupe.

What to serve in a pasta bowl

Pasta, of course, but the shape works for much more: risotto, big salads, stews, a brothy soup or a grain bowl. The wide base gives food room to spread out, and the 6 cm sides keep sauces and dressings in place. On a busy weeknight, it's often the only plate you need.
