The idea for Kaya Ceramics was born during a walk through a local market in Saint-Tropez. Among baskets of citrus and hand-woven textiles were rows of hand-painted ceramics — each piece unique, full of character, and clearly made with love.
That moment became our inspiration: to create ceramics that tell a story, blending French coastal charm with Portuguese craftsmanship and Scandinavian simplicity.

Every Kaya plate begins with natural clay, shaped and painted by artisans in Portugal — a country renowned for its ceramic tradition.
Each piece is fired at 1250°C, making it durable for everyday use yet refined enough for special occasions.
